The Glenn Falls Trail and Dry Falls

The Glenn Falls Trail near Highlands, NC off of Hwy 106, is a beautiful 1.4 mile trail (one way) which passes by a series of nice waterfalls. It is a very popular family hiking trail of moderate difficulty. The pictures below were taken June 18, 2001.

Dry Falls is a spectacular falls near Highlands, off of Hwy 64. It has the unique attraction of a walkway which allows visitors to walk behind the falls.(Photos - July 23, 2002) If you enjoy waterfalls, make sure that you take in these two opportunities near Highlands, NC.
