4/1/03

hikers - John Bellamy,  Jack Jacobi,  Steve Jordan,  Wayne Miller, Bob Presley,  Tony Presley  Dan Ross,  Doug Russell,  Jack Slaton,  David Whitaker

Trail access above Tate City, GA where the road dead-ends into the trail head parking lot.  A strenuous hike which includes a very steep climb up to the top of Standing Indian Mountain from Case Knife Gap.

Another beautiful hiking day! Clear, cool morning with some stretches through snow left over from a couple of nights earlier.  (10 mile round trip)
